Ahh well. I wanna share some proof that parents really arealot smarter than we are due to all the God-given wisdom in parenting they're given. Woah yeah, believe it; admit it. Haha!
There was once when my mum and I were having lunch at home. She was talkign to me about all the crime rates and what not la. So along that line of what mums normally say like "You're very precious to us ynoe..." and all that, she told me "God must really have a great destiny for you, because He preserved yout life twice."
About the "preserved your life twice" part, if you wanna know the details *heh* ask me in person lol. I never thought of it that way - that God has a great plan for me. And I really began to wonder and to ask God "what's that plan?". He reminded me of all the past things He told me and spoke to me about - how I said I'd be so into doing it but left it there hanging, together with all the excuses of "not being ready".
That happened around one or two weeks ago. I don't know if I'm any closer to starting to do get my feet up and running again, or am I just delaying God? [We all know God really dislikes that]
I think I kinda have an unstable relationship and all that. I sorta rely on my physical feelings alot - like whether I feel like doing QT [which I still end up doing] or whether I feel the Holy Spirit during CF, CG or celebration. And I know that I know that FEELINGS are nothing when it comes to God - it should be whether you want to or not, or whether it's that convicting in you to create an urge from inside you to make you obey or do what you're supposed to do.
Lol, I got that from somewhere - which really hit me. Still, no action. "Fatih without actions is dead." [forgot which verse!] - this is me telling other people when I definitely know that I'm talking to myself; and I get convicted, real bad!
Ahhhh. it feels really nice to type everything out in here. Haha! If no one reads this, it's gonna be darn sad!

Ynoe, I mean like, ever since we started praying [oklah, I don't know how much you guys have prayed but I really thank you guys for praying =)] Yeah, ever since we started praying super alot, our CF has really been blessed by God and his oh-so-awesomeness.
I was doing Quiet Time one of the days and God spoke to me, more like revealed to me what He was, has and is going to do in my CF. [dangg, I'm psyched!]
Since the beginning of the year, out CF has grown *can consider* alot. Maybe not dramatically alot like 5 people to 50 people but more like slowly - 5 people to 15 people. Hey, everything's gotta start small! I'm really thankful to God for bringing people in.
Next, since I reshuffled the CF committee and had our first meeting, my committee members really have grown in passion for God. I praise God for His guidance for each of us and really showing us the right way to go. They've grown to be more serious about God and in CF. Jonathan How, the vice president, is apparently all out to get people serious with God and Ilina, the secretary, is taking up her pose *finally lol*. Johnston, our worship coordinator, is doing a great job with worship!
Today (Friday, 08 September 2006) we had our first worship team. It was pretty unexpected though lol. I was supposed to lead worship and I rushed the songs *lol* and at 11:15pm, Thursday nigth, Johnston *worship coordinator and the guitarist for the day* called and told me "Tomorrow Jonathan Chew will be playing the drums, Julian will be playing the acoustic and I'll be playing the electric guitar." I heard that and I'm like "Whoah! This would be so cool if I wasn't worship leading!" So today right before CF started, we sort of figured everything out but it turned out to be kinda kelam-kabut. Aha, well, it's a start! And it was a great start :]
My committee members are really stepping up to their poses and I really love seeing 'em like that. I love my CF with all my heart *emo la now?!*
I totally thank God for all His blessings He's showered upon us.

espeially da sermon..men, i wish my parents or adults who are out of shape and always comment bout the ways of youth dresses should be there..lol..JKJK today's sermon was bout be fasionable,cool,keep fit, exercise and shine for God.
Inward beauty are important but outward beauty are also important. You need to hav both to shine for God. u cant only have inner beauty but outer beauty are zero..u also cant have outter beauty but inner self are like rotten eggs.. both are equally important.. christians are cool cos our God are cool tooo..so christians dress cool, up to date,exercise and keep fit.. (ouch! i hav to eat my own word) well, mayb u guys will says that though men look at appreance but God looks at heart..well its right!!but jus too bad cos humans are not God..they cant see your heart.
God's purpose for you on this earth is to win the lost but u cant win them unless u dress lik them..if u are outdated, old fasion, belly ozzing out,bad odors how are you gonna win young peeps to the Lord?? the will flee before you are near...lol so dress cool and funky cos our God is cool,awesome,ful of colour..
Pr.kong when on sayin that he dresses wuteve he likes.He dosent hav to show off that he is a pastor, lik wearin a tie, formal clothes..jus look how casual he wears.. though i know this u cant really apply in dumc!!haha.. niway he when on..sayin one time he was in a shopin complex and a church member came up to greet him"hi pastor" and then later a passer by came up to him and say "u r pastor ah??" so now u get wut i mean? ppl view on pr are old fasion, cannot dye hair, cannot look cool or wut so ever!
its ok to be vain..cos even in the bible Joseph is vain and eshter is also vain!! eshter go through lots of beauty treatment b4 she meet the king and b4 the king choose her..Joseph do facial & make ups!!wut a meterosexual!but who cares he work for God and his glory.. eventhough he wears snakes simbols who cares?he have to be like an egyptian to communicate with them he hav to follow their culture..same as us we hav to wear wut the world wears to communicate with the world..for example how are you going to communicate wit an ant if u yourself is not an ant?
so actually wutever u wanna dress..its ok...wear skull,snake,dragon..dress like the world but just dont follow the ways of the world..being a child of God dosen mean you haf to wear long sleeve,long pants,no torn clothes..OMG this is so pharisees!!
you also hav to exercise and keep yourself fit and exercise to work for God. I mean how r u gonna work for God if ur body is weak?and not healty?u have to keep ur foundation strong, ur spirit men strong and u have to keep ur body strong!! So wut if your foundation is strong but ur body is weak and u have obesiti??u will die early and u did nothing for God.so stay healthy, eat the right food and exercise!
ps. not goin against dbs in dbs u hav to follow the rules..cos it trains u to be nore discpline and become more lik Jesus disciples -this jus a part of wut pr.kong preach!
She's gonna be facing her exams soon (not sure when but soon) and she's very busy studying. However, she's sick now and she's staying at her grandma's house in Ipoh.
Please pray for her cuz she can't afford to get sick in this exam season. She has to study and sit for her exams. Pray God will help her and that God will bless her with good results k.
And yeah, pray for Sri KL's CF also. Tomorrow (Friday) we're having a meeting.

anyway, there is something important.. i guess everybody hav to take notice.erm..well i went for da Jesus Heals Rally last year..and on the last day Pr.Jean Lim was preAching bout the mark of the devil also known as the chip!! well everybody knows that the chips controls..thats y u hav ur hp and computer workin .without it it will never work. so now imagene what if that chip its inserted in YOU???of course it will controls u rite??
well i am saying this becos to make u all ready and to really think bout it.. cos in 2008 chip will be inserted in everybody's body!! serious!! well da function of da chip its like ur ic, birhcert, credit card and medical card.. so they insert everythin bout u in da chip..well u may think that the technology very canggih!! but its not cos ithis is da mark of the devil!! ok!! for your better knowledge read REVELATION 13 and 14..it talks bout da chip!! so please read it.

*remember to also keep ur foundation strong in God so that u will not be shaken when troubles approch u!! cos u wll never know wut this world may come to!!so do your quiet time everyday and pray everyday!!!
Semangated la wey lol. Yeah man, I'm super semangated about my CF now.
This coming Friday, we're gonna be starting new - as in, after restructuring and deciding how CF should really run - we're gonna carry all out our plans.
This whole week also we'll be praying for our nation Malaysia in accordance with Merdeka Day. Every prayer meeting we have and on Friday also we're gonna be specifically praying for our Nation.
Yeap, please pray for the committee and me for God's Word to be with us in everything that we do. Pray that we'll seek first His face and His kingdom before venturing into anything major =)

i thought i should share this with you, and the rest if any of you(s) are in the committee and want to change the way you choose leaders.
in my school christian fellowship, the way we do it is this way. we meet up like one month long for solid prayer and preparation at least, and then we start praying for God to give us names. because, it's very very important to wait on God, don't you think? to wait for Him even if it takes a long time for Him to answer, it's His perfect timing.
the thing about nomination and votes are a total no-no. because it's plans by man. and yeah, i think the thing about discussion is good. but let's not settle for the good but the BEST, amen?
erm, it's like this, a lot of times, we tend to try to "help" God with the election of the committees in CF/CU. so we come up with names, and we pray, " God, bless this people WE comission into YOUR work." ridiculous, don't you think? so yeah, that's my view.
erm..
with all that's said, i have a prayer request also. for my school's CU(christian union). we are currently praying for the new batch of committees. and yeah, we need to sort things out and maybe start small again. there has been alot of disunity here and there, so yeah. do pray for us okay? cos we are only as strong as our weakest link.
